Okra seems to be coming back. This is the third recipe I read about that has Okra. This looks very delicious. Thanks for sharing.

another addition to the okra salad that I use is crisp fried bacon. In fact with the bacon it makes a good meal with cornbread and butter.

I have never had okra. Not a big item here in Canada. I might make cornbread just so I can make the croutons.

I would have to hide to make this–I can never get fried okra to the table. They eat it like popcorn while I am draining it! Cornbread croutons sound delicious–can’t believe I have never had either one–thanks

I love okra ! Some people can’t get past it but it’s so yummy.
Especially when it’s fried : )
