My husband and I honeymooned in New Orleans 28 years ago and fell in love with the city. Now that our children are grown we vacation there at least a couple of times a year (we are going next week, in fact) and might end up retiring there someday.

It’s funny that you posted this onion soup recipe because my son just asked me yesterday if I could make onion soup for him sometime. I told him that I think I had made it years ago from a recipe in my Brennan’s cookbook which I had purchased on our honeymoon. It will be on my menu soon.

Btw, I live in Ada and know some of *your people*.
