How Great Thou Art has ALWAYS been my favorite hymn. I just can't hear it enough. What beautiful pictures of your neighborhood walk. The recipe sounds sooo yummy, thanks for sharing all of this. Have a great week. Blessings to you, Debbie

A lovely post to revisit.
We have wild roses all around our cabin property and the hips are plentiful. We always leave them for the birds.

Hi Christi...

My friend, I really, really enjoyed this post...thank you so much for sharing it with us for Sunday Favorites! What a lovely walk that must have been...so many beautiful sights!!! Of course, Autumn is my favorite time of year...God certainly blesses us with all the majestic color!!! Ohhh...I have to tell you that "How Great Thou Art" is one of my favorite hymns! I cannot listen to it without getting goosebumps and tearing up! Mr. Boberg was definitely led by the Spirit of God...how great...how awesome...how majestic is our God!!! I'll never forget the first time I heard this hymn...I was only 5 yrs. old. A man named Bro. Teeters from Alaska was visiting our church and he sang "How Great Thou Art"...he had a magnificent voice...as he sang, it sounded just like the thunder that the song speaks about! Isn't that funny...I can still remember that...just like it was yesterday! It made such an impact on me...and I was only 5 yrs. old! Just wanted to share that with you!

Well my friend, I'm so happy to hear that Project Valour IT is still marching forward!!! I am so thankful for people like you and your husband...as well as the others that were mentioned...for helping our servicemen and women!!! Lord bless each and every one of you! You know...I've just got to say this...as I was reading about the sweats that are needed for our military in the hospitals...that just breaks my heart and at the same time just makes me mad! I mean...can't our government supply our men and women these needed items? What's wrong with this picture? We can spend billions of dollars bailing out all these failing businesses (banks, car manufacturers, ect.) but they can't see to the needs of our men and women who sacrafice for our freedom!!! Okay...getting off of my "soapbox" now! Sorry...just had to speak my mind!

I hope that you're having a wonderful weekend, my friend!!! Lord Bless you and your family!
