I happened onto you blog from a photo posted on google images. I am in heaven. You sound exactly like we are twins~ kindred spirits at the very least.. I love the way you do your blogging. I am a third generation Texan born and bread but my heart is most definitely deep southern. My Grandmother was from Arkansas and it is a beautiful country. Your blog is very informative on the three subjects close to my heart~ cooking, tablescapes and gardening. We are a perfect fit. Keep up the good blog. I can't imagine a day without the morning dose of "A Southern Life". <3

I love your blog! I happened upon it while searching for garden ideas. Read most of the posts before I checked the "about" tab and found out you are from SE Oklahoma. I live in Choctaw County. Please keep posting as I really enjoy reading them and have found some very useful info. Love your new garden too. I don't have space for a large garden and didnt even get to have a small vegtable garden this year but I have managed to grow some flowers. Your repurposed herb garden is an inspiration and I'm already working on getting raised beds ready for next year. I may even have some late crops.

I read your blog all the way over where I call home in Chicago. While I love living in the Midwest, I have fallen in love with southern living. My Memaw passed this website along to me and now I visit it daily to remind me if why I love the south so much, keep up the great work!

Christi,
I really like your website. It is very professional, informative, and interesting. I am brand new to blogging and don't seem to have a whole lot of time to spend on it. My sister got me to look at a few blogs... she started her own... and next thing you know, I started my own as well!

Thank you for commenting on my tablescape. It was my first one to post. I really had fun!

Have a great weekend.
